We’ve always loved Volterra its wonderful surroundings. The city is on the top of a mount rising among green fields and the most typical Tuscan soft rolling hills. We’ve been hoping for a long time to work again in that beautiful area and we finally had the chance to do it.
Elisha and her family stayed for some days in Hilton Grand Vacation Club. So we proposed them to visit together Volterra and take some photos in the historical center. Hence we passed by the ancient Etruscan gate Porta dell’Arco, where a couple of cats welcomed us. And what a stunning view over the countryside!
Then on our way back to Borgo Alle Vigne, we turned on a gravel road to stop by the Teatro del Silenzio. Here the International Grammy Award singer Andrea Bocelli contributed to found an open air theater just nearby his hometown Lajatico. This place which literally means “Theater of Silence” is fabulously peaceful and offers one of the most incredible countryside views one can find in Tuscany.
Come and see…
