  • What is the best way to get in touch?

    If you're overseas, definitely via email- info@medisproject.com. About 90% of our clients come from all over the globe, which means big time zone differences. So that's the easiest way, at least at first. On the other hand, when we need to plan very accurately a session, like a Marriage Proposal, we can arrange an online video call.

  • How long in advance should I book my shoot?

    The sooner, the better. Please consider that it's just the two of us taking photos, and we're working on a first-come-first-serve basis. On the other hand, it also depends a lot on the kind of service. For Family and couples photo sessions a few weeks in advance can be enough. Whereas for Wedding and Elopements, especially in summer, 6/8 months is more recommended. That being said, we strive to accommodate last-minute requests when possible.

  • Can we get the RAW files?

    Let us answer with a question: why are you asking for RAW files? This topic is huge, and all in all, we pretty much agree with Caleb Kerr's point of view. However, feel free to contact us explaining your concerns about that!

  • In the meantime, can you provide at least a few sneak peek photos?

    Of course, we can! If you need a few photos for your thank you cards, or just to share them with your friends, we're happy to send them within a couple of days - or anyway, as soon as possible.

  • How long does it take to get our photos?

    A few weeks, or up to 3 months. That depends on the kind of sessions and the season, according to the number of photos we need to edit. Please consider that we take care of the whole MeDisProject workflow, and this process takes a lot of time. We appreciate your patience for that.

  • How do we get our photos?

    You’ll have your private, password-protected online gallery which you can share with your family and friends around the world. Typically, this gallery will be online for at least one year, and you can enter also from our Clients' area.

  • Are there any travel fees?

    Whenever the session is more than 10 miles/15 km away from Florence, we generally charge a small travel fee, depending on the distance. Also, any taxi rides or any other previously agreed transfers are not included in our quote.

  • I’m afraid that my little son/daughter will get tired during a long photo session. What would you recommend?

    As you can see, we had many sessions with kids and even a few months old babies. As recent parents, we know even better how much patience we might need with our little ones. Please let us know your needs and expectations, and we'll be happy to customize your session according to your daily routine.

  • What’s the difference between Family and Family Reunion photo sessions?

    Getting high-quality photos means having enough time on your shoot. To do so, the session length depends on the number of participants. We generally consider a Family session a single-family group within 5 people. Whereas a Family Reunion is usually a chance for far-flung relatives to reconnect, which means larger groups. It might be just a family of four traveling with two grandparents or even a big gathering with 20-30 people. Please let us know in our contact form how many people will take part in your session, and we'll be happy to provide more information according to your needs.

  • We want photos in Florence AND the countryside, is that possible?

    Sure, we can customize the session accordingly. In this case, we generally skip the city center, but we can still take wonderful photos from our favorite panoramic spots. You may find examples here and here.

  • We’re planning to rent a Villa in Tuscany. Would you travel to our place, or shall we need to come to Florence?

    You don't need to travel to Florence, we're happy to come to your place! Since the city center gets more and more crowded at any time of the year, if you're a large group of people, like a family reunion, we'd highly recommend organizing the session just in and around your villa. You may find many examples of this service on our Family page.

  • Do you work only in Tuscany?

    Yes, we do mainly work in Tuscany and neighboring regions. Years ago we used to travel all over Italy, and sometimes abroad - Dovilė is from Lithuania, so we visit the Baltics at least once every year. On the other hand, as you can see in our story, we now have a baby too. For this reason, to stay close to our home in Florence, at the moment we prefer to remain within Tuscany. Nevertheless, feel free to tell us your story and your ideas, we're open to new experiences!

  • Are you professional full-time photographers?

  • What happens if it rains? What is your rescheduling policy?

    Normally, bad weather is not a problem for our photo session, especially in summer. However, shooting under the rain can be very exciting, even for families. You may find some examples in our galleries, here, here and here. It can also be a unique chance to take great photos. That being said, if the weather is so terrible and makes your shoot impossible, we can try to re-schedule, or we can offer a refund - if you already paid a retainer.

  • Do you shoot mini-sessions?

    No, we don't, for many reasons. Photos are just a part - the outcome - of our service. In between, there's a unique experience, that we'd love you to enjoy to get wonderful photos to be cherished for years to come. Think about it: when you're on vacation you don't usually like rushing or being rushed. Also, rushed sessions tend to look, well...rushed!

  • Do you accept multiple clients on the same day?

    No, we don't. We like to take our time with each client, and so we only book one session a day. As you can see, we're just a husband and wife running a family company, and we are personally in charge of every step of our workflow, from the inquiry to the delivery.

    As you can see, we offer many different kinds of services. Moreover, we're used to customizing them according to your needs.
