Planning a large family photoshoot in Tuscany can be both exciting and challenging — finding the right location, the perfect light, and a comfortable atmosphere for everyone, from grandparents to toddlers. That’s exactly what we found at Villa Benedetta, a classical and monumental villa surrounded by a vast garden just outside Greve in Chianti, only a short drive from Florence.

This wonderful family of fifteen — including grandparents, children, and grandchildren — came together to celebrate their reunion in one of the most picturesque settings in Tuscany, surrounded by an atmosphere of inclusivity and love.

Mixing Classic Portraits and Candid Joy

We always love to balance timeless, posed portraits with spontaneous, candid moments. At Villa Benedetta, we began with formal family portraits in the villa’s grand garden, capturing the elegance of the location and the harmony of generations coming together. Then, as the afternoon light softened, we moved into a more relaxed mood — children playing on the lawns, couples sharing quiet glances, and bursts of laughter between siblings.

This blend of classic composition and natural storytelling reflects our approach: creating images that are both beautiful and true to life.
