A Wedding Proposal Story

This post is about a romantic wedding proposal and an exceptional one. This service is quite different from a single Love Story session.

We met Steve and Kristine last autumn, at the Paneretta Castle. They had a wine tasting there, and we were just pretending to take photos at the vineyards. In this case, a large garden surrounds the property with a fantastic view over the Chianti hills.

How we planned it

Of course, we arranged everything in advance with Steve. Moreover, the crew at the venue was super helpful and friendly to let us in and get ready to meet them on time. While they were still inside, we prepared our cameras and waited for them at the spot we previously agreed with Steve. The trick was quite simple: as they came around, we’d approach them. Then we’d ask them if they could pose for a couple of pictures. Of course, we were “taking photos for the venue’s website.”

And how he popped the question

And so it was that he started talking, becoming more and more emotional, until he finally got down on his knee, showing her the ring. The rest is easily understandable from the following photos. We picked up our favorites from those that we took in the surroundings, and later on at the fantastic Villa San Michele, where they had the most romantic dinner.
