Podere Le Monache is a cozy farmhouse in a beautiful yet pristine area in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. We were not very close to any of the main touristic tracks. Nevertheless, it’s just about one hour away from Florence. Once we got there, we felt like on vacation: a rose garden and swimming pool, and the most breathtaking view over the valley, towards the sunset.

As we arrived, Kiley and David welcomed us warmly, with kind smiles. Kiley’s mother was going to celebrate an intimate ceremony in the garden, next to a little wooden bridge over a water lily pond. It was just the three of them, and us, almost holding our breath.
